Motorway traffic is an earnest and energetic brand of
rootsy power-pop, driven by the enthusiastic vocals of bassist Pete Winkler and the
jangly chord work of guitarist Michael Blum. "Caroline" and "Everafter" marry
Jayhawks-style rustic rootsiness with infectious, unrefined vocal harmonies.


Road Scholars
The band has been honing its chops with
relentless touring, building a fan base city by
city as it motors across the South with the likes
of road warriors Cowboy Mouth (Fred LeBlanc
is a big booster).

"Demolition" Derby
The band's full-length debut, "Underwater
Demolition," offers 10 pop-rock nuggets,
including the intriguingly titled "Hell to Texas"
and "Emotion is Gravity." The disc was
produced by Better Than Ezra bassist Tom
Drummond, the band's unofficial mentor.
